Step 1: Install the EA File

1. Open MetaTrader 5 (MT5) on your desktop.
2. Go to File → Open Data Folder.
3. In the new window that opens, navigate to MQL5 → Experts.
4. Paste the downloaded EJL FIB EA.ex5 file into the Experts folder.
5. Close the Data Folder window.
6. Refresh MT5: Either restart your MT5 platform or go to the Navigator window (Ctrl+N), right-click on the Expert Advisors folder, and select Refresh. Your EA should now appear in the list.

Step 2: Attach the EA to a Chart

1. Open the desired trading chart (e.g., XAUUSD or EURUSD) and time frame (e.g., H1).
2. In the Navigator window, expand the Expert Advisors list.
3. Drag and drop EJL FIB EA onto the open chart. A settings pop-up window will appear.
4. In the Common tab of the settings, ensure these two boxes are checked:
   • Allow Modification of Signal Settings
   • Allow Algo Trading (or Allow Live Trading)
5. In the Inputs tab, review and adjust any specific risk management or input parameters you have provided.
6. Click OK to save the settings and attach the EA.

Step 3: Activate Automated Trading

1. Look for the Algo Trading (or AutoTrading) button on the main toolbar at the top of your MT5 platform.
2. Click the button to enable automated trading. It should turn green or show a distinct color to indicate it is active.
3. Check the top-right corner of your chart. You should see the EA's name and a blue hat/smiley face icon, which confirms the Expert Advisor is successfully running and active.

Note: For 24/5 uninterrupted trading, it is highly recommended to run your MT5 terminal on a Virtual Private Server (VPS).
